TBH the very fact that they gave the winner next to no time to arrange to collect rings very big, shilly bells with me. Someone offered me a 2nd chance offer within minutes of an auction end once - the reason was very unconvincing, and I told them so.
If in doubt, report it for shill bidding and let ebay decide if it was.
the timing of the e-mails dosen't add up either with the ending of the auction and everything so I think we are going to walk away from this one and chalk it down to experience
