    Hi,
I purchased 2 bags from a site which I though was legit. I received 2 bags about 10 weeks after ordered which are clearly fake and completely different to the ones I ordered.
I tried contacting the seller for a refund but after not having any luck started a dispute through Barclaycard.
Barclaycard have eventually come back to me and said they can't continue the dispute as payment was taken through a 3rd party. They said my only option now is to raise a chargeback but I have to send the items back to the merchant.. I've just gone to go back onto their site to find the address but it's been shut down due to fraud and selling counterfit items!
    What should I do??
Tell the bank it is a "goods not as described" case and you need it to be refunded as it was not what you ordered and distant selling regulations apply. You could also make a complaint to the banks concerns dept as they may write it off, but be very careful about where you do your internet shopping, I always try and avoid unless it is a reputable retailer. Good luck

Why do people reply without reading earlier posts? There were just 10 of them in this thread...

Distant Selling Regulations, now incorporated into Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, do not apply here as the goods have not been returned.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
