Sky new account

Hi there,
We are moving next week and wanted to ask if I could cancel sky which is currently in hubby's name and open a new account in my name in the new property and secure maybe a better cheaper deal?
Is this cheeky? I hate that big monthly outgoing when we are not ever watching it apart from the sports that hubby so desperately needs.
We have the top package hd/sports/movies
I hope someone can help, thank you

How long left on your current Sky contract is the first question .
That will require paying off if closing the account .0 -
Well that blew that one out of the water :rotfl:
I am not sure if the answer, my hubby deals with that account and I have been asking this unbeknown to him. I guess I wanted to be armed with a price reduction before I approached him.
He thinks everything is fine, he wants to pay for it and to be honest he works hard and doesn't flitter money away so I guess I should just back off and leave the poor man alone with his TV and current Sky package.
Thank you for trying to help

If you're moving, either way you or he will have to speak to Sky to transfer your account or cancel it and then start a new one. If you're moving next week though you may find that they can't install at your new address straight away depending on installer availability.0

similar position. New house, but still have old house, was just going to get a sky freeview card for old house for 25£ (not under contract curretly anyway) and open a new acc at the new address with different bank info and the Mrs details.I am a Jedi MonkeyYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Jedi Monkey, so you need to take my word for it.
