Congratulations to your DD. :j

At the moment I am trying to get some weight on DH as the "healthy diet" has him losing weight and he is getting far too thin. Decided to feed him smoothies and little and often pack calories into him while still having home made real food for meals.
We see the specialist tomorrow and radiology starts next week every day for seven weeks so fingers and everything else crossed.
Did a cookery demo this afternoon for youngest and showed her how to do a tomatoey sauce and a low fat white sauce as well as a hairy dieters moussaka dish. Now have seven home made foil dishes in the freezer for her to take back on Saturday.
Three estate agents come to look at the house next week and dd has booked cleaners for us beforehand
My housework is not that bad - honest - but she feels it should be immaculate and I see her point.
Managed to find a dress and jacket for dds wedding in November at a third off the price and sidestepped the salesladies efforts to add huge fascinator and matching bag and shoes.
Have family christening next weekend and ordered a dress at a very good sales price which will go with new jacket and also a more neutral fascinator much cheaper. The original one could have picked up satellite signals it was so tall.
Just been mailed the fascinator is on its way ( not the dress!)
I'll be a bonny sight in just my underwear and the hat thingy
Outfit as mother of bride is striking but I hope not over the top. Will try in on in front of dds later and if they give the thumbs down I will rethink. I don't want to look garish and flashy but neither do I want to look like a bowl of porridge by being too safe and dowdy.
If DH is up to the blessing next April then I will be ecstatic and it will be a chance for the whole family to get together but his health comes first. In the meantime we all cheerleading and being positive.
