Samsung Galaxy s5 contract - what you are paying now

Hey all!

I have done some searches of the forum and haven't found any info on this, so i hope this isn't a duplicate!

My contract is up this sunday so im looking around to find the best deals so that i can haggle and get the best deal possible.

My question is what is the best deal you have managed to haggle from a mobile network for the s5? I'm looking at unlimited texts, minutes and 1gb or more of data.

Its mainly so i know how far i can push for the best deal if im honest. I don't mind driving a hard bargain but if im unreasonable i will get no where.

I look forward to your responses and success stories!

Thank you! :j

best tesco can do is £33 a month for 750 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB data. Pretty poor to be honest.

CPW does unlimited min/texts and 1gb for £28 pm.

Both use o2's network... CPW directly and tesco piggy backing.

MSE forum and it seems no one likes haggling with the phone providers... very weird! either that or no one uses this section of the forum :rotfl:

will post my success or lack of tomorrow when im due to upgrade. Will be interesting getting through due to the iphone 6 release though...

Or people don't have an S5.

    Or people are on PAYG.

Or people buy the phone upfront and go sim only which is quite often more money saving :D

s5 is second best selling mobile on the market, i don't believe that one.

quite possibly on PAYG, certainly more MSE if you don't want a new phone

Buying it outright is cheaper in the long run but one hell of a lump sum to start with. I doubt most users here have that option available to them (like myself).

Look at the LG G2 for maybe less than £300 or the Moto X for £240 or the Moto G for £150 or even the nexus 5.

    Why the S5 ?

Why the S5? If its like my S4 you play with all the features they added since the S2 then slowly disable them all?

Eye scrolling and hand gestures can be a pain sometimes.
