Hi, I work for BT. Yes it is possible to move your existing btbb depending on whether the line supports bb or not.
If you have one of the btbb opt 1,2 or 3 it takes 5 working days to go on the line. Some lines can have it on 5 days afteryou place the order eg ring bt on mon 23/07, move in on 24/07 and line on, bb on mon 30/07. Other lines need the line working for 2 working days and then an offline team would order the bb and it will be working 5 working days later. If you ring BT and give them your new address they can check if yours is a simultaneous provide (1st example) or sequential (2nd example).

There are no costs to transfer btbb over. I couldnt comment on the line you would need to check that with bt homemovers. HTH

I moved from one side of town to another. BT switched the phone line and BB on the day I specified - I was even able to keep the same number.

Having said that, you might find that if you close your existing account and re-open it for your new address you will may qualify as a "new customer" and have access to all manner of exciting new deals and package prices.

Also, if you are in the middle of a BB contract it is my understanding that the move has no effect on this. So if you have 6 months remaining on a 12 month contract you will have 6 months remaining in the new property.
