Thailand holiday dilema

our daughter and boyfriend have booked and paid for a holiday to thailand just after xmas but with the awful double murder of two brits has really scared them and we too do not want them going there either . daughter BF tried to cancel yesterday but the travel agent said that they have had no warnings from the bangkok…

the point I was trying to make, even though it was somewhat ham fisted is that murders, sexual assaults happen everywhere and avoiding those places because it has happened in recent history is denying yourself the opportunity to see some amazing places.

bottom line is the OP wouldn't have a leg to stand on as far as cancelling because she/her family are worried about the recent crimes
