Leasing car for the first time, Is our calculation correct?

Thanks for the reply. Your points are very valid.
Two reasons for our choice:
The leasing agency could only offer a good price on a diesel model as they get more discounts from the manufacturer on diesel cars as compared to petrol.
Petrol would cost me £240 per month for 3 year for leasing( i prefer 2 year over 3 year as this is the first time i am leasing).
We've been using old banger's for quite some time now and mostly ended up with huge MOT costs and used uneconomical mpg's. So we thought we go for a brand new sports car for the same equivalent cost.
CRVS you have asked on several other threads on whether you should get this or that DIESEL car and considering your mileage you have been told MANY times to avoid the oil burner. I don't think you're actually taking in anyone's feedback on board.
Secondly, the SEAT Leon FR is by no means a sports car. You say you are fed up of driving bangers but you stated that your last car was a 2003 e60 525i. I certainly wouldn't classify that as a banger.
Your're only doing around 5-6k miles a year, why even bother leasing? Why not just get a used Honda Civic 5 door ( and something you actually own! ;p)? I am not attacking you but I'm getting frustrated at your posts, as you're repeatedly asking the same questions receiving the same responses. Also, it would help if you are honest so that other members can provide you with more informed advice. If you want a brand spanking new car to impress your friends and relatives just say so, no harm in that.0 -

Exactly, CRVS if you are considering to lease and you want a brand new car to show off you're better off going the extra mile and leasing out a Mercedes C class or f30 BMW 3 series.0 -
Also did a bit of digging and found this post on the OP considering to study an MBA programme at the UK's top business schools.

OP, I'm astounded at your level of financial intelligence taking into account that you maybe studying an MBA at LBS or even considered to do so.0 -
OP, I apologise for my comments. But I'm trying to give you the best advice. When I was younger I use to drive around in run down Honda Civic (but was very reliable, loved that car). I didn't have much money at the time and I was tempted to lease to get a newer car but after much thought and trying to convince myself I knew it didn't make financial sense (as I was probably going 5k/year or less).0
