Where to go?

Can anyone give me some ideas as to where I can go on my summer holiday next year? I realise this is a big ask so will give some info:

This year was the first time I have been away for 7 years, I found a recommendation on another forum and so I went to Hisaronu in Turkey (all inclusive) and really enjoyed it. I would like to try somewhere else next year however.

There will be me and my partner, both mid 40's, like somewhere lively so nearby bars/restaurants etc are a must however not lively in an 18-30 type way (been there, done that 20 odd years ago :rotfl:) Don't mind what board basis it is.

In the past I have been to Corfu, Kos, Zante, Egypt (Luxor), Gran Canaria, Menora and Malta so would like somewhere other than these places if possible. Would consider going again if something good came up though.

I'm looking at various different sites and am getting overwhelmed by all the choice so it would be good if someone could give me personal recommendations. I will be going for a week in June/July 2015.

Thanks!
:p

Oops.. forgot that! Not mega expensive 5* end of budget but doesn't have to be on the cheap either, around £1000 pp max.

Majorca - Puerto Pollensa or Cala Bona
    Ibiza - Santa Eulalia
Rhodes - Pefkos (my son was there this year and loved it)
Corfu - Kassiopi (I know you've been to Corfu, but this is my favourite)

Thank you, will have a look at those. I have been to Corfu twice but both times was to Kavos (many, many years ago!) so I will consider other, hopefully nicer, resorts.

Tunisia - Id recommend Sentindo Phenicia Hammamet - all inclusive, 4 star, - restaurant nearby - taxi ride into Yassmine Hammamet

or port el Kantaui (tunisia), - built round a fishing habour, good beaches, restaurants.

If you went June would be cheaper than July, - Tunisia around a 3 1/4hr flight

See you like the greek islands . Rhodes is also decent to look at . What about Cyprus . Again around Paphos is fairly lively without being mad . All inclusive in Turkey I have found isn't the best forfood . But acceptable . The canaries could be a better choice . Fuertaventura or Gran Canaria . (I like Puerto Mogan )maybe too quiet for you .

Hmm Tunisia could be an option, my brother went a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, I'll take a look.

And yes, I do like the Greek Islands for some reason! Will take a look at Rhodes and also check out Cyprus.

Oh decisions decisions, everywhere looks lovely pity I can't afford to go to all of them on a kind of tour, two weeks in each:rotfl:

Not sure if you particularly wanted all inclusive. If not, then Kalkan in Turkey is delightful. All nightlife centres around restaurants (masses of them) and bars but no clubs or discos. There's plenty to do by day if you're into trips out or boats ut if you're happy to sit by the sea or pool then you can do that too. Only one small shingle beach but the beach clubs are great or better beaches a short ride away.
