    I find I'm more inclined to plan a day out for the kids birthdays and create memories rather than buy them lots of stuff which is why we went to blackpool for a belated birthday pressie to the boys xx

    We do that for when its October week for his birthday :D days out here and there. Day before his party he and some friends are also going go karting for the day :D xx

    8 days til payday. My boy got hold of the Smyths catalogue so have a fair idea what left to get :). This will all be sorted by payday.

    October wage will get his bike and a mini ramp for garden. November wage will get his sofa bed. Then b n m some small items :D

    End of September will be putting £200 aside for starting holiday fund :D me and my son WILL be going on holiday next year so going to start saving for this. Hoping be two weeks away, my friend might be joining us with her son if she has the funds but I a going and starting saving x

  • Sounds like some great plans, our Smyths catalouge arrived the other day - my two love going through it for Xmas but they're getting a bit old for some of the things in there!

    I'm dragging on for pay day next Wednesday, can't come soon enough.

    My boy just pointed out this mine craft sword he would love. So will be getting that when next out at Smyths :) Also saw minecraft for his switch.

    Definitley Submarine having something booked will perk up the mood :D

    Also will be starting to save for my decking fund for next year as well. Everything is money money but be amazing once done :D xx

    I'm not booking any holiday until I've paid off the barclaycard gives me more incentive to get it cleared asap.......we are off to turkey again next year xx

  • I've just booked myself a flight to Tenerife in April, never been before. Will book accommodation depending on if I can talk anyone in the family into coming with me, if not it's a room for 1!

    Free bar and me equals a regretful me in Sunday, complete write off. I cant handle much drink so doing doubles and shots for 8 hours is up there with disaster.

    Payday Thursday woo!! Going to sort somethings out :) Will be finished with my boys birthday fully and can start Christmas. Think I will get his bike this weekend and next month pay his sofa bed :D xx

    Woo payday is in two days.

    Thursday after work I am going to Smythes, finishing my sons birthday and starting his Christmas. Will get his bike, bike ramp, minecraft sword, minecraft game for switch, and my niece chicco cot thingy.... Also ordered off amazon two other minecraft "weapons" and his fitbit ace from argos. Feel finally accomplished for that.

    I also have £200 aside for holiday next year. When paid on Thursday this will be £300, end of the month may put to £350 all depending 5 week month :P

    end of October wage will finish my Christmas for my son, with his sofabed, my mum voucher for hairdressers she likes, my dad god knows prob amazon voucher n my younger sister something superdry. Then just we things for everyone else. Feel more sorted :) xx
