Thank you Abba. I know been filling you in drama in mail lol!

So official move in date is 29 June :)

However as we know they are moving into their daughters house due to being elderly. They are taking the fridge freezer and oven to make more money and not including in house. I found out last night they are uninstalling the fire thats in livingroom. So I told my solicitor thats fine but they will have to have wall plastered and fixed to standard for moving in.

I also found out the french doors the man installed back in his younger joiner years, he did not even get permission. My solicitor has informed them (for my own protection) they have to contact local authority for them to come out and sign it off with permission. In all honesty I am surprised they are not taking that bloody with them! This will take them 2 weeks to get approval

My mum was calling them all names last night lol!

But yeah mortgage approved and move in date 29 June.

That's exciting and really not that far away! Do you need to give notice on your current place?

Shame that you have a few issues with the seller - especially taking the fire with them. Is that normal? I'd assume that was like a fixture/ fitting rather than an optional thing. As you say, if there's a hole left on the wall, that's not what you signed up for!

You'll get there - if you need to live with a £30 fridge off Gumtree for a while until you save up, so be it. We are still using the beat up old freezer that the previous owner left behind 3.5 years later and it doesn't look great but it'd functional for now. Trying not to spend money on the kitchen until we get the whole thing redone in a couple of years.

Might be worth getting your solicitor to ask for a list of all the white goods and fixtures that they're taking so there's no surprises. Make sure they're thorough?

No notice needed on my flat I rent. It was my mum and dads so its all fine. I am only getting the washing machine and tumble drier. My sister is buying me an oven and I have saw an amazing deal on american fridge freezer £379 so will get that.

Think I will have money for couch for moving in :) as will have two extra months savings and as I am moving out on 29 June I wont have to pay £400 for July and I am sure first payment for mortgage is 1 August. Not too sure but gives me an extra £800 for first month and couch covered and with end of month pay May I have enough for my bed :) as my mum and dad will be covering the bed for my son for his bday xx

Also finished that 6 week study for PA hope that comes in soon for Belfast xx
