Spammers out in force today !

Options
So far today I'm about to be sent a big bill, my paypal has been accessed by a third party. BT are going to terminate me ! and Amazon need me to confirm details... Luckily a nice lady called Margaret is going to send me lots of money.

I know they are mostly phishing for bank details etc but there seem to be so many now, the spelling and grammar are appalling in most cases. Do enough people really fall for these to make it worth their while ?

I think they must but don't worry a gentleman from Nigeria wants me to help him transfer over £25.5 million pounds into the country and has promised if I just send my name address date of birth and bank details he will be able to transfer the money in.

    So here comes lucky street!!!

Still I little worried about the email from Halifax. I never even knew I had a current account with them??? Still best click the link enter my details and sort it out!

Also been invited to meet a charming lady called Ling-To who suddenly wants to meet me and start a relationship apparently she has been following me on face book. She is just having problems with her visa and needs a little help with solicitors fees. Not going to respond as do not want to break her heart not being lesbian and all ready being married and all of that.

MMMM sorry I totally agree do people really ever fall for it? Still I suppose enough people must do otherwise why would they carry on doing it?

I would tell you more about mine, but it seems that the FBI do not want me to disclose about it.

  • I'm jealous - no spammers today
proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl
  • No spammy action here today to speak of barring one sad little not-try-very-hard Paypal attempt informing me that my account (without the 'o' which was made me sit up and look tbh!) was about to be severely blocked. Thinking that either my luck had changed or it was time to register with a Harley St gynae I studied it closely but I suspect it was from someone not entirely on top of their game as they warned me that the FBI would track my account (without the 'o' again) if I failed to complie with the insturctiones to reafiliate my account (with the 'o' this time) by clicking on the link bellow.

Scammers - you just can't get the classy ones anymore!

I had a one from Barclays bank today - they need to confirm my account number , address, password etc. Weird as I don't even bank with Barclays!

I always instantly delete these emails but sometimes I am so tempted to reply back with something like 'Do you think I was born yesterday mate! Or give them fake details such as:

    Miss F Off
    13 Getalife Lane
    Spam Town
    PI22 OFF
    Account number: 12345678
    Password: Just4u!

I won't reply though as don't want them to think my email is 'live'.
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
