If the number has changed then you have a cancellation with re-routing rights under EC261/2004.

Norway isn't in the EU, and I don't think their AOC is either (last plane I flew with them started 'LN' on registration from Gatwick)

For purposes of EU261 regulations, Norway is in the EU. In any case, regulations apply to any airline departing from a member state.

My flight to gatwick from malaga on 31st march at 14.15 has been changed to 7am same day....i cant make that time....speaking to cs they inform me i can re-book to any flight to gatwick any time plus or minus 14 days of this original date for no extra charge,this has to be re-booked over the phone as you cant re-book on-line.
I originally paid £14.50 for this flight....i can re-book a £159 for no extra charge.........but none are suitable,but i will find something or cancel and fly easyjet.
