The first thing is to ask the car issuer. I had my Barclaycard AMEX declined and when. I queried it all could say was that there was a"security problem". I have lodged a formal complaint as they had known about the problem but did not contact me.I am trying to do a online purchase for the amount of £610 I first tried my Santander purchase card it got decline after that I tried my second card from Santander that was also declined.
The same thing occurred when trying to perform the transaction with a TSB credit card.
My question is are they declining it for security reasons due to the sum of money the transaction is for?
If so would it be best to contact santander?
Before anyone ask yes with all three cards i have the credit available.0
