What was the last fast food you had?

It's a loooong time (years) since I've had a microwave meal (can you believe, as a student I happily ate 99p 'steak' pie, chips and peas/carrots done in the microwave. Urgh) or an instant noodle meal (again, I can't believe I ate pot noodles...they taste vile!) but whilst trying out a few 'convenient' meals to eat at work I tried, this week:
Ainsley Harriot instant pasta pots - 95p each - macaroni cheese, tomato pasta and summer veg pasta. Verdict: foul, watery, almost inedible. I ended up buying a bar of choccy at work just to cheer me up! And for 95p I could make a main meal for 2! Disgusting.
McDonalds breakfast (this morning) - £2.95 - I must say I adore the hash browns but they are very bad for you, full of fat/salt/evilness and I could buy a whole bag of them for 99p (or make potato rosti for under 50p easily). The egg mc muffin...well...I have a *bad* stomach ache. I could have had a whole cooked breakfast for less than that. And the tropicana? Lovely, but again I make a pint of fruit smoothie at home for half the price.
Beanfeast: urgh urgh urgh urgh. I think it was £1.50. Went straight in the bin. Tasted like salt, salt and more salt. Have a second packet in the cupboard. Destined for the bin. Will make mixed bean chilli myself for the same price, twice as much and no killing the OH with the salt overdose.
I dipped my foot back into non-os and YUCK! I never want to go there again! What was your last fast food and did it make you think how much better a little effort is (and how much cheaper too!)

Fish and Chips in May after I'd taken ds1+2 to see Pirates. I must say I always enjoy f+c as I don't go in for deep frying -scares the hell out of me:eek: and I reckon it is the most unmucked about with fast food you can get. Fish and chips are most definitely a treat for us. We'll be having them again on the 28th as it is ds1's birthday meal request (followed by raspberry pavlova made by me).0

Depends if you mean take-aways or ready meals.
Ready meals - never really eaten them.
Take aways - about 1 every 2 weeks. Last Friday: plaice and chips from excellent local old fashioned chippy.0 -
hot n sour soup and a battered sausage from the local chippy/chinese for lunch yesterday

no matter how hard i try, my hot n sour soup just isn't the same when i make it myself.0 -
Fast food - I probably average once every 2 weeks. Usually chips from the local chippy to supplement a meal, macdonalds or a curry.
Ready meals - cant remember the last time I had an actual ready meal. I dont think tinned soup really counts personally. I did have some danepack veggie quarterpounders and I have to say they are lovely
Im letting the OS side down with my indulgences now

I had a bag of wheat crunchies last night.
Lunch time today I was holding the (breast fed) baby and he burped. It smelled of wheat crunchy. I'm not eating them ever again!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

And it was yummy!0 -
We had a chinese last week that was rank. Why do i do it!
I had a mcdonalds hamburger last week as well, I do like those, nice and small anything larger than that makes me feel utterly sick. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
