contacting british airways

I need to contact them as it seems they have cancelled my return tickers for some reason However i was given an 0844 number which i cant dial on my mobile Tried say no to 0870 got an 0191 number dialled it and tells me only for overseas callers and cuts me off Can anyone come up with a geographical number that works

0191 490 7900
0800 4080009

I can get through on the 0191 number without issue. If you are calling from a mobile so dont want to use the 0800 number then try turning off caller ID on your phone. I find this sometimes gets me through to numbers that block UK callers from calling

Thanks got through by blocking my number Shame its constantly telling me lines are busy and cutting me off

I had the same problem with Air France at the weekend as they have cancelled most their flights this week due to striking pilots. Thankfully I booked via a third party and they sorted it out with Air France booking us onto a British Airways flight.

I suspect that BA may be getting a fair number of inquiries from people who were due to travel by AF

Actually, just called them on the 0191 number, didnt select an option and the call was answered within a minute. Miserable woman who hung up on me initially, called back and got the same woman instantly and she did actually make the change this time
