Hi, yes I submitted the defense saying the claim was incompetent on grounds of jurisdiction and I have just had a letter back from the county court saying that the claim has been struck out for said reason.

I'd suspect the latter, hence the limited addressing. A 'frightener' hoping for a knee jerk response, to make it all go away.
