Hi all,
If I buy two of these monitors, does anyone know which cable I'd need to connect them to a new Macbook Pro?

Man thanks

What outputs are available on the MacBook?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
Erm, not sure.
Site says...
MagSafe power port
Gigabit Ethernet port
FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps)
Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps)
Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps)
Headphone port
SDXC card slot
Kensington lock slot
8x SuperDrive0 -
You'll need a Thunderbolt to VGA or DVI connector.
If you want to use 2 monitors then the first one would have to have a Thunderbolt interface, and the second one would connect to the first via a Thunderbolt to DVI (or VGA) connector.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

The Macbook Pro has an HDMI interface, with which you can drive one with a cheap HDMI to DVI cable, and two Thunderbolt interfaces you can use to drive the other with a Thunderbolt to HDMI and then an HDMI to DVI.
Pace Quiet Spark, you don't need to mess around with Thunderbolt chaining because it's a Pro, with two TB ports and an HDMI port.0 -
I'm not an Apple man, and the OP neglected to mention the exact model or indeed an HDMI port so I went with what I was given to work with.securityguy wrote: »Pace Quiet Spark, you don't need to mess around with Thunderbolt chaining because it's a Pro, with two TB ports and an HDMI port.
Apologies for my lacking of ESP at this time.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

Sorry, I'm still struggling here.
I (perhaps unwisely) bought two screens with RGB only (no DVI input).
One screen is running via a thunderbolt to HDMI cable.
I bought an HDMI-RGB adaptor for the other and after waiting a month for it to arrive from China, it doesn't work.
Can I just run a second identical thunderbolt to HDMI cable to the second thunderbolt port?
Thanks again!0 -

My MacBook Pro doesn't have an HDMI port. It has Mini DVIOne by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

Many thanks, have ordered that one.
I'd previously bought this but it doesn't seem to work...

Mr Toad, mine has a port marked HDMI.0 -
Mr Toad, mine has a port marked HDMI.
Modern MacBook Pro's do, the mini-DVI was stopped in 2008 and replaced with MiniDisplay Port which in turn was replaced with Thunderbolt and HDMI was added. Thunderbolt is backwardly compatible with mini-Display Port though.
I'm always twitchy with 3rd party converters as many dont actually convert the signal but simply change the port shape and so wont work unless you have an odd monitor which accepts HDMI over VGA
I'd get a mini-display port to VGA converter, make sure it is mini-display port though as I've seen a few mini-DVI adapters miss sold as mini-display port0
