Cheers I'll have a look. But if your going to quote something as an example then surely it's worth a link? You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -

If it was an external source then maybe but seeing as it's a thread on this very board and I gave the thread title I would have thought that would be enough for anyone, a link would merely be for convenience, in the same way I usually refer people to a specific sticky without necessarily actually putting in the link. I was actually about to get the link when I saw that wolfman managed to find it anyway."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Shouldn't this thread be in the 'I'm a girlie whinger board'.

This is the Techie Stuff Board.

Read it,, seemed mostly a case of handbags. I read worse on other boards on this forum. You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0

There's something 'Handbag like' about this thread. Like a few old women gossiping.
There are people out there that need your help. Get to it.

Although the majority of people on the forum sites, both offer and receive sound advice, and some may agree or disagree, or have different opinions, of which everyone is entitled to, there is a catagory of people known as "trolls", whom like to go around each and every forum just to abuse it, and/or other people using it, mainly because they have got nothing constructive to offer, but still like to glorify themselves in banter, good or bad.
The saying all publicity is good publicity, be it good or bad, comes to mind here. To reply or react to them, is merely handing them ammunition to proceed, the best method for dealing with any TROLL, is to completely disregard and ignore them. They really hate that!!:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Look, you snotty-faced heap of parrot droppings! Shut your festering gob.... Oh, I'm sorry - you were looking for an argument? Well, this is abuse - you want room 12A down the corridor.
<very badly paraphrased Monty Python sketch - in case you were thinking I was totally barking>0 -
What a good idea, a forum page specific to abuse or arguments, dedicated to trolls. We should have a TROLL NAME N SHAME board, where we could all add the names of regular trolls on the site.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
