  • I think it is the horror stories of my mum and my friends mum happily giving us clothes that are suddenly 3 dishes too short (rather than small)

    I think the tumble wears the clothes out more and get that bobbly effect.

    I never dry towels or bedding.. it takes forever.. I have a Lakeland heated airer for those and bedding is usually hung over doors and my dryer does clothes.. I buy bigger sizes expecting them to shrink anyway so that makes no difference and bobbling isn't an issue with anything. I don't tumble fleece or knitted items as it does wreck those!
