Lack of viewings

I have a unique house, think marmite! You will love it or hate it but I have had only one viewing in 4 months. I have tried to reduce the verbiage of the EA and get the best possible images but nothing is happening. Please take a look and give me some advice!
The site won't let me post a link, but if you go onto rightmove, look at nercwys, flintshire, £399,500
Sod's law meant the neighbours put their house on the market within a month of mine!!
Three EA's valued it the same, between £410k and £390k but I dropped to below £400k after about 6 weeks. That is when I got a viewing.

I'm one of those people where the house would not be for me!
However, the photos don't look as if they are in focus (or maybe that's my eyes!).
I'm not sure from the pictures which of the reception rooms are which (except the library of course)? Is the sofa in one of the rooms blocking french doors or is that a window?Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Frankly indigo, I LOVE it. It's quirky and unique and right up my street! BUT (here's the negative bit,) I think it may be overpriced. It's a lovely house, and I do like Wales...but... I don't think homes in some parts of Wales are very valuable, and a house in Cheshire or Shropshire or Oxfordshire for example, like yours, would be worth £400K to £450K, but in North Wales, properties are worth less for some reason.
Maybe it's the poor and slow transport links to major towns and cities, and the fact it takes ages to get anywhere, and the lack of employment opportunities and high paid jobs? But houses in much of Wales do not have such a high price tag as many other places.
I would think your home - as nice as it is - should probably be priced quite a bit lower. I would suggest under £350K.0 -
Not sure the photos are helpful. You've got quite a few duplicates, or similar ones (4,11 and 12 are basically the same view, and I'd quite like to know what's at the other end of the kitchen that you're not showing me?) Photo 5, while lovely, isn't really going to help it sell.
I also don't get a feel for the 'flow' of the house. As the photos are a bit mixed up it's difficult to work out which room you're in - especially as you have a sun room and a library - both of which people may think are the sitting room or dining room. As it is a unique house, you need to work a bit harder to help the viewer along.
You also seem to have two "bedroom 4" on the plan
Kitchen's and bathrooms are really important, and all the photos of these are looking out rather than in, which raises the question of why. You also don't have a picture of the shower room, and I think one of the bedrooms is missing?
I think it's lovely, and I personally want a library like yours - but I don't think it's presented in a helpful way for an unusual house.0 -
Just wanted to add that I agree that on the listing/description, that it's not clear which room is which. That may help. But I still think it's the price.0
-
To be honest, it probably is the price (despite what I said above!)0

Its not that remote. Mold is a big enough town, it has the usual supermarkets etc.
I love the house, I am from Chester.0 -
Are you sure this is a house and not a library?
It does feel a little "empty" and more like a hotel or something, rather than a home. There's something missing.

For me it looks good but it's cluttered and obviously very personal
The lounge and the library aren't for me, and to be fair I'm struggling with how you could change it
The bedrooms are good as is 2 bathrooms but no ensuites
You need to show the garden and link, inside with outside0 -
If it's unique, the others being up for sale shouldn't be a factor, surely?0
