  • As the title says - it has just sprung to life down south - everything seems to be working now for me. Hope sellers can recoup some of their losses - or maybe ebay will be generous and let the sales be cancelled and re-listed x

I'm in the Midlands and can't get in on phone or main computer. It keeps telling me to log in and then saying site unavailable.

Mine seems to be OK, but every now and then it fails again. I'm having particular issues with item descriptions disappearing.

I had a snipe bid on an item set at £19 upper limit.

Its sold an hour ago for £6

I am not very happy and I feel for seller who is £13 or more out of pocket as there were NO bids today.

similar items have gone for £20 plus in recent weeks.

I was going to list some things this afternoon but I won't now.

Even if it is working now, I can't be bothered with it

    Not necessarily.

Your max bid of £19 might have won at £6.50 if no one else bar you bid higher than that final price of £6.

Although I agree recent sales for £20 plus suggests otherwise.

I managed to get on and place a bid.

Weird part is I am signed in, but when it was playing up it wanted to sign in but wouldn't let me.
  • One thing is guaranteed, Ebay will not want to know about what ifs.

Been a few bargains today and a lot of people out of pocket.

I was one of the good bargains, Armani blush brand new in box. Actually thought I was getting it for £5, but some did manage to bid and it was £10.99 I won at. So still an excellent price for me, I was expecting it to go into the £20s.
