Lloyds credit bureau data

hi, hope i'm posting this in the right place.
Does anyone have an idea whether lloyds banking group share data between each other ?
My problem is that apparently I have something called credit bureau data on my lloyds account (although they offered me £5000 overdraft 6 months ago, which i don't use). I have nothing adverse on my file. as requested i've sent copies of my credit files to the lending team, i don't want to borrow any money, just to get this removed. they didn't have even the courtesy to reply, so obviously i have no future with this bank. I'm full time employed, with a decent salary, no defaults, ccjs, iva's, or high debt levels (just credit card balances paid in full every month).
I'm planning to switch now to halifax, but as them being part of lloyds banking group as well, i was wondering if it is likely to have this mark also placed on my account with halifax.
any advices will be appreciated.
thank you

All banks get information from the 3 main credit reference agencies, so don't know what you mean by credit bureau data on my lloyds account?

Lloyds will share all their data with all brands within their group, which includes Halifax and Bank Of Scotland, It doesn't mean that what ever mark you think you have with Lloyds will placed on a Halifax bank account.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Who told you? What impact has it had?
  • I was in the branch for an account review few moths ago, and they told me that i have a credit bureau data, which mean they can't offer me any loans or credit card, my risk band is 3, I don't know what that means too. I assured the manager there that there is nothing negative on my file (I usually check experian and noddle), she told me it will update automatically after a month, and that it will help if i post a copy of my files to the lending department in brighton.
I popped in yesterday, to see if it was updated after sending copies of my files to and she told me it is still placed on my account. the manager herself couldn't explain why it could possibly be placed after checking my files.

More than likely it's a commercial decision on the part of the bank. Doesn't mean that you will be unable to obtain credit elsewhere.

Putting your thread title into the search box at the top right of your screen throws up some previous threads...

Most of the information, aside from your own thread, is 2 years or more old, but might offer some help?

so do you think switching to hailfax won't result in a similar mark on my account ? knowing that both banks belong to the same group

It works for me, so maybe only good for the person making the search. Why not make your own search?

    Do as I did...

See the search box top right?
Click in it and type "Lloyds credit bureau data" (without the quotes).
Select "forum" from the drop down box.
    Click the magnifying glass.
any keywords that will help me find the search on google
How about "Lloyds credit bureau data"? ;)

You'll see the first non-sponsored link takes you back to this site, and the threads I've shown you how to find here.
