we paid for a case each to go into the hold can we still take hand luggage plus shoulder bag into the cabin, that would total 3 bags each all within stated size and weight.
Thanks Stanehyve

The reason Ryanair now allow a 2nd small piece of hand luggage is because they now only 90 large items of hand luggage in the cabin, everything over 90 goes in the hold free of charge. Make sure you pack your hand luggage accordingly.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

that makes no sense at all, why would they allow double the hand luggage when they have less space?0 -
From the Ryanair website "One cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, plus 1 small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cms may be carried per passenger*.". As you can see the 2nd item is very small and can therefor go under the seat taking up no locker space. This and allocated seating is designed to ensure they meet their turnaround times.glentoran99 wrote: »that makes no sense at all, why would they allow double the hand luggage when they have less space?IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

You are now also allowed a duty free carrier to be taken on board as well as small case and small bag.0
