No win no fee flight delay lawyer

I have posted about this before, but briefly our flight to Crete was delayed by 24 hours due to the knock on effect of the general strike in 2011. We have written to Aegean airlines twice, and both times they have said it was due to the strike which had actually ended 24 hours before take off. On the day their story as to why the delay was so long changed several times.

We have now approached 2 no win no fee companies who have turned us down because Aegean are not a UK airline.

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer who may take this on please?

Yes I did search that before asking. I clearly clicked on the wrong bits. I couldn't find anything but will look again.

There are many NWNF outfits - but far fewer decent ones. If Bott won't take your case, there may well be a good reason. You need to ensure that Aegean have a presence and assets in the UK otherwise it could be a challenge.

One alternative is to use the European Small Claims Process. This is paper based and designed to work across Europe (people use it to sue Ryanair, who are actually based in Ireland). Look on the Ryanair thread, and Dr. Watson's posts in particular.
