Eeeek! Thanks for pointing that out. I removed all the stuff at the top not thinking there was any more :rotfl:0 -
what did the contact sayDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Many thanks everyone - I understand the situation far better now, with the help of all your comments.
I don't generally upgrade til renewal time anyway as I'm really not interested in the latest model. I ensured that everything agreed with 02 was on chat & then I had a transcript sent to me of the whole chat, plus I have read all the T's & C's & contracts.
I cannot afford to buy the phone upfront so, to me, an interest-free option is handy.
I have decided to upgrade for now, but have their confirmation in the transcript & in the contract that I can cancel within 2 weeks & send back the phone & cancel the entire contract. If I like the phone, I may stick with it as, due to being disabled, a good smartphone with internet, is worth its weight in gold (when compared to sitting with a laptop) but I am going to look at GiffGaff for a sim-only deal & compare prices before deciding.
Again, many thanks for all the advice!0 -

Thanks for that. A tablet was my other option but, to be honest, I don't need one now with the Xperia as it's perfect for my needs! Really pleased so far as it's a bigger screen size but still portable.0
