What rights do buyers have after completion?

Hi
Our buyers have been absolute pains in the ****! They kept coming back and making us pay/sort every little thing! They even avoided us today on completion to give the keys by hiding in the estate agents! (Original agreement was they picked them up directly from us). Anyway as you can see they are very demanding. Now my concern is following completion can they make us pay for anything else? I have heard different tales of things being broken not being declared and the ex-homeowners having to fork out? A couple of the windows are dodgy and we have various bits of mould (from the dodgy windows). Now by all means these are not extreme problems and they have not happened after they viewed it. They viewed it in that condition. (Was clean and tidy). Now I'm having a bit of a panic thinking they can come back and make us replace them? Or anything else they may find? Just to add they did not have a homebuyers survey just a plain mortgage valuation.
Thankyou all

In my experience there should be no come back - they had their opportunity to haggle over survey findings - after completion any problems are theirs.
People seem to think they are buying new builds end expect everything to be perfect!! Just make sure they don't have your contact details so they can't hassle you over every little thing.0 -
Hi
Thankyou for your response
I have them my mobile as they requested it to organise key pick up which before all this hassle I was quite on to give them. I suppose I could always have it blocked. My concern was really from a legal point like can they sue me etc. You have helped to put my mind at rest for now!Love my DMP left to pay £0/ £10162.51

Relax..... It's Over
As already stated, the opportunity for negotiation and fault finding has gone.
delete the number and enjoy life :T0 -
there can only be comebacks if something on the inventory was incorrect / missing. structurally they had their chance with survey etc so tough titty0

they did not 'make' you pay for anything. They asked. You agreed.

Fairly standard practice. One of the services EAs offer.
(Original agreement was they picked them up directly from us). Anyway as you can see they are very demanding.
Maybe they were, but not from the info you offered.
Now my concern is following completion can they make us pay for anything else?
Yes. If you have breached the contract in any way.
I have heard different tales of things being broken not being declared and the ex-homeowners having to fork out?
Well - did you break anything whci was on the F&Fs list? Is there a difference in condition of the property between Exchange/Completion?
A couple of the windows are dodgy and we have various bits of mould (from the dodgy windows).
Were they dodgy at the time of viewings? Survey? Exchange? Or did they become dodgy later?
Now by all means these are not extreme problems and they have not happened after they viewed it. They viewed it in that condition.
Thankyou all0 -
Scotland or rest of UK?0

Hi
They were dodgy when the house was viewed been that way since before we moved there 4+ years ago sadly we didn't pick up on them when we moved in. I know it's fairly standard for surveys etc but these ended up being really picky and kept delaying completion over possible thoughts about grids etc. Also we are in the UK not scotlandLove my DMP left to pay £0/ £10162.51

Until then, at least, Scotland is part of the UK.

Caveat Emptor

No problem unless you deliberately lied on the property info enquiries sent via your solicitor. And even if you did, they'd have to sue; which they won't.
So forget them and leave them to their carping miserable existence; and let them enjoy the maturing smell of that kipper you hid behind the radiator.
Whadda ya mean you forgot to hide a kipper? You must be really nice people!0
