RYANAIR sharp CHECK-IN practice

I recently logged onto the Ryanair ONLINE CHECK-IN web site to check in for a return flight from a holiday.
Previously, Ryanair had stipulated that you could check-in from 15 days before the flight.
Now, they've changed the rules so you can only check in online after 7 days before the flight.
As I don't know whether there'll be printing facilities at my holiday destination, I was insensed at the prospect of facing a £70 charge/person if checking in at the flight desk, if I CAN'T print off the Boarding Pass.
Delving into the web site further, it appears Ryanair now allow customers to use MOBILE BOARDING PASSes which are sent to a special Ryanair App on your phone, (presumably to brandish at the Flight Desk).
The snags are:-
1) Not all airports cater for these and still require a paper BOARDING PASS.
2) You still have to CHECK-IN online after 7 days before the flight OR pay for a SEAT BOOKING.
As an avid follower of MSE principles, this really goes against the grain, so it appears that once again RYANAIR are exploiting the fears of customers who prefer a paper BOARDING PASS to extort additonal money from us.
If I've got this wrong, please tell me, but that's the way it looks.
Time to walk on to the EasyJet Desk perhaps . . . ?

Sheesh, not another thread about this. Pay the seat selection fee if you are that adverse to printing while away/using a mobile boarding pass. Then next time you can book with a different carrier.0

What does a seat booking cost?0

I'm not asking for myself. I was asking a simple question seeing as others have suggested this was an option.0

You don't know either ?0 -
These changes have been in practice for six months now.
Your itinerary confirmation email should have show this.0 -
Ryanair are the ONLY airline to charge for printing a boarding pass at the airport. I tried to check in at the quick check in at Copenhagen where Ryanair have their logo. It showed as desk not open yet. Of course it was open but they wished to charge me 350 Danish kronor for the pleasure. Naturally you have no choice, but the big hubs like Kastrup do not like Ryanair for this sharp practice. Sometimes if you book long enough in advance SAS are cheaper than Ryanair.0
