I agree all 3 agencies are good, and I have looked at all in the past, however in my experience, what is on my free noddle report is reflective of all other reports. I was passed onto noddle by a mortgage advisor. This does the job for me, for free....

I have now used all three of these. Noodle shows me enough of what I need to see really, and a basic rating of my credit, because mines very low at the moment so I'm trying to improve it and a generic rating of my credit and how it improves will be very useful particularly as it is free!
I quite liked Experian's credit version, the information seems most accurate to the truth. All three have their own representation of the report, though.0 -
I signed up for the free 30 day "CHeckMyFile.com"
What a bunch of inaccurate invalid and down right false information I got, CheckMyFile is some branch of Equifax and has joined forced with CallCredit, they LIED and I have proof they lied about my Equifax as I have an email from EQ saying I'm fine, the other 2 say I am not on the electoral roll DUE TO AN ERROR that has lasted 7 years! HAH
No, I did day 7 years, no typo, tho it seems they are VERY able to make "selective typos" when it suits, I am in battle with CheckMyFile/Experian and they are playing hardball, I have documented evidence from banks, power companies, and the local council that they are in error, also a huge email from Equifax saying you all fine with us buddy, yet CheckMyFile says NOT... interesting huh, they say they share information... seems not.
Basically Equifax is not willing to accept despite 10 pages of evidence that I am on the electoral roll, they say "we are in a data gathering mode and this happens every time this year, nothing they can do"
I am collecting the documents and going to the ombudsman to make an official complaint, wish me luck...0 -
Can anyone tell me how often experian/equifax update during these free trials? My info seems really far behind. Haven't found a certain answer but from reading it seems to be once a month in which case it should just be advertised as one free report... not really worth the hassle, happy with the statutory one.0

The same as with anyone else's.. I worked in finance for a company and from what I remember, we would notify customers that Experian usually updates on the 16th of every month (it was a specific date, exactly which I cannot remember), they don't necessarily tell people that but this is what I was trained to know. So when we'd get customers complaining we haven't updated their credit, it'd be because they updated on the 16th, whereas we updated to them on the 21st, meaning that often customers would have to wait yet another month until Experian actually showed a change (e.g. full debt paid off).
In short: Once a month. But this might not always coincide with how/when your creditors send updates.0
