If anyone is interested in getting a monthly subscription to Equifax.. I recently signed up for the free trial, then just rang up to cancel at the end of the free trial.. they do all they can to keep you ha.
Offered the subscription for the main service for around £7 a month for 6 months then back to £14.99 thereafter.

So if you haven't had a trial with them yet.. go ahead, then wait a week and ring to cancel, they'll just end up offering it cheaper!

DISCLAIMER: Subscription on credit reports is a money waste, just buy a statutory report once a month or even less from here for £2:

Or even better, Spend 3 x £2 per year (Statutory reports from Equifax, CallCredit & Experian), saving £36, given you'd be considering taking Equifax up on their offer of £7 per month for 6 months, and cancelling over the 6 months.

Don't see the point in wasting £7 a month for 6 months IMHO
  • Or even better still; don't give the crooks any of your money at all - just don't get the reports, unless you're applying for a mortgage or your energy is supplied by Npower.

Yep totally agree, notice my disclaimer, its a waste of money. But it's a cheaper option for those that don't know, so its a Money Saving tip!

I think it's a good idea to have a look at what your credit report looks like once in a while, for those of us who are doing what we can to rebuild it, its important to have an idea of how its going and what info might be wrong etc.

Or even better still have a Cap1 card and get 2 full Equifax reports a year and monthly notifications of any changes / enquiries on your report completely FOC.

    Cool
For anyone that is looking for a new CC then maybe that's a very slight positive to consider when deciding.

Indeed, a service which appears to continue long after the card is cancelled.

Best to check all three agencies. From my personal experience Noddle is not the most comprehensive.
