Personally I would be careful with some of the temporary tattoos, ink can have some very toxic ingredients and even placing them onto unblemished skin could still result in issues. These wont have passed Stringent European safety tests.
I stick to only things I don't put anywhere near my skin, or have any need to be plugged in or use batteries.
I order lots of stuff for a special needs day care club local to me, small crafty things and basic supplies , nothing expensive or dangerous. I've got one thing now outstanding from early August and the seller won't refund and just keeps extending the delivery time, I'm now showing November. I'm dreading doing a dispute as my last one took 4 months to resolve and I only got my refund by harassing them on Facebook- but they took that account down so goodness knows what I will do this time. It is only £13 so within the tax and duty limit and if necessary I can afford to write it off, but it is the principle of the thing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Did you pay by credit card? If so, have you tried raising a dispute with the credit card company?0 -

The last claim I made I tried that, but my card provider refused the claim.
I'm going to give this seller until the post arrives tomorrow and then I will have to try a dispute.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. as this has turned into a general discussion thread about Aliexpress and buying from there, the thread is being moved to Shop but don't drop.0

I think that since neither you nor anyone else on this thread have spoken about direct experiences i'm going to chance it and make my own decision.
One of my items was dispatched the day after I ordered, the other one is yet to be dispatched, but did say 8 days.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Wow - this thread took some finding!!!! I didn't realise it had been moved, have been scrolling through pages and pages on the Grabbit board looking for it! :rotfl:
My (teenage) daughter asked me to order this top for her. Ordered last night, message from seller today to acknowledge receipt of the order. Fingers crossed...

It isn't obvious, but near the top of the page there is a bar and on that is shows your country. Near that there is a drop down box and from that you can choose your currency.you can then pay in sterling and avoid the fee charged for currency conversion by your card.
If that doesn't work then you can change the currency at checkout, go to payment screen and near the top it shows various currencies, click on sterling and pay direct. Again that avoids the charge.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Firstly I wouldn't touch electronics with a badge pole ,The buyer is also responsible for paying the duty, tax and handling charges as well.
I buy a fair bit of electronics stuff, especially amateur radio. You have to know what you're buying and be able to read the descriptions well, and also study the (non library) photos.
Also, duty varies vary much against product and country. That is why all the Chinese radio stuff is sent from, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, where there's no duty.
I also feel, that a lot of stuff is illegally imported into East European warehouses where paperwork is lax and then it is in free EU circulation.0
