50% offer ended, just cancelled sky

Evening,
Just got off the phone to sky as my offer has expired, 50% off everything in the TV package for 12 months.
I was paying a total of £76.93 per month
£40.40 of this was my fibre and telephone
So it was £36.53 was for my tv package, this was going to double up to £73.06
So all in monthly it was going to cost me £113.46 a month!!!
So I spoke to the cancelation team and I was offered nothing at all so I went through with my cancelation, my sky tv gets cut off on the 11th October.
My question really is, what now ? Do I just wait and I will be offered the classic retention offers that people are getting on this forum?
Cheers

My 50 % ended in august! they couldn't offer me anything so I cancelled. On Monday night I had a call from them offering me £100 credit and then 17.80 until September next year. No contract so I could opt out any time I have the variety and movie package. So I would cancel and take my chance.0

Hi,
Can I just ask you, when I was checking out the packages on Sky website, it said that Sky+ was part of the package for 'Variety', so did you get the Sky+ as part of your package, or do you have to pay extra for it?
Thanks,

If your opted in to telephone marketing then you'll get calls after about 1 week, then nothing until after you cancel.0 -
Personally I have more to watch than I can keep up with with Freeview, so am always surprised by people who pay for Sky and the like. Even £36.53 is too much money to my mind, let alone double that.
You pay all that money, yet you still have to put up with bloody adverts - madness!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -
Candy53, I had a sky+ box so didn't pay for sky plus. Just the variety pack and movies,0

Get a Humax Freesat box for £200 and save between £238 and £676 in the first year and even more after that because SKY will ramp up their prices next year and the year after ad infinitum. The picture quality is better on the Humax box as wellNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

Just go to the pub to watch what you want - it's far more fun and may still save you money compared to the silly prices that Sky charges!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
