Are these good? Or just another kitchen clutterer? I use my slow cooker to make soup at the moment.

I just make mine in a pot on the hob - I have thought about using the slow cooker.
I always put dried lentils in & these need boiling, so I figured I had to dirty a pot anyway.
    But I could boil them?
    What's the benefits?

I use the slow cooker, I just soak the lentils in water for a while before I add them.
I chuck everything in early in the morning before work and the soups ready when I come home at night.

Still want one of these soup makers though.
