When next to change cam belt

  • What does the manual / service record say?

You'll need to tell us what engine it has too?

if the van has only covered 10,000 miles since the belt was last changed then it will need changing on months rather than miles

depending on the engine fitted in the the van the timing belt could need changing at 48 months, 72 months or 120 months

from 2007 you have passed the 48 and 72 months so belt may need changing for age
  • Hiya, Manual, what's a manual (I'm a Girl...._), engine I do know its a 1686 (I only know that because it's written down.

No, that was Manuel! OP. a manual is a handbook, or instruction book, that tells you things like how often the cam belt needs changing
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
  • iolanthe07, I was just trying to lighten things up, which it seemed to do.

  • TBH if your thinking about it get it done 7 years has past with low miles, many belts snap because of lack of use and weathering so piece of mind more than anything get it done!
