The standing charges are the same as the previous February 2016 tariff (which I had just changed to last week) but there's a slight reduction in the gas rate and a slight increase in the electricity rate. I thought I would have to change both fuels to this tariff and accept the increased electricity costs in exchange for the gas savings, but according to a rep on Live Chat, you can request a tariff change for just one fuel over the phone, so I'll be doing that tomorrow. That should save me about £12 over the course of the year.

How did you get on with changing one fuel only over the phone as I am also on the Feb 2016 and noticed that they have the March 2016 available now.

Having each fuel on different tariffs would have resulted in separate bills, so the rep moved both fuels over to March 2016 and gave me a £10 credit to make up for the increased electricity cost instead. This actually more than covered the difference so I was really pleased. Great customer service from EDF.
