Cheapest Payg to call UK Mobiles

I need a SIM to call UK mobiles anytime and any network. However I normally use 100-150 mins/mth. I don't want to tie-up on contracts more than a month.

Based on that I find these 2 are best offers
T-Mobile Payg Everyone tariff 12p/min
O2 Sim-only Simplicity tariff O2-200 mins £15/mth.

Does anyone know anyother offers?.

    T-Mobile increases to 15p a minute shortly.

    Theirs Tesco PAYG no contract.

(Standard)If you only regularly ring 3 numbers you can get them at 10p a minute.

(Extra) top up by £15 a month and all numbers cost 10p a minute.

    http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/shop/?page=tariffinfo

Plus Tesco will give you half price airtime when you first buy sim, plus a £1 already on card, plus £5 if you port number.
Also if you top up regularly automatically by d/d your get a 10% discount making calls approx 9p a minute. http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/

    Or theirs Asda PAYG http://www.asda-phones.co.uk/

    16p for first 3 minutes. 8p a minute thereafter.
  • Orange charge 15p/min flat rate, and have various deals at the moment.

eg: Top up £20 p/m (133.33mins x 15p) and get either £4 credit or 600 texts (web offer) the following month.

Should be fine. Any sim I've bought came with the uk mobile number already programmed in, in fact it'll probably be printed somewhere in the package bumph that comes with it.

Tesco's value tariff is cheap for UK only calls though so no good if your visitors need to call abroad. 10p a min, 5p texts.
However don't think their SIM card is free.

edit: nope. They've just put it up to 15p a min for calls. They've just cut their roaming rates so I suppose this is to make more ££££s out of the punters by way of compensation.
their std tariff is still 10p if your friends are only calling you and put you down as one of 3 fav nos.
All PAYG seems to be going up :-(

They have always charged 15p a minute on their value tariiff.

You can nominate a dial through number as your Friend and get all your landline calls for 10p,or you can top up by as little as £13.50p a month to get all your landline and mobile calls for 10p.

Depending on where you are calling abroad you can dial a dial through number for 10p a min.

    How about this Tesco Bundles
    http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/mytescomobile/?page=bundles

£2.50 for 25 mins and 10p/min after that.

    I can't see any catches.

I am thinking of going for Tesco sim in this method

    1) Get SIM with Extra Tariff from http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/shop/?page=simcards
    2) SIM Card £10 including £20 airtime
    3) Get SIM delivered to Tesco store and thereby delivery is free.
    4) Transfer my existing number from diff network to Tesco and get £5 airtime, as mentioned here -> http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/help/?page=keepyournumber
    5) Using the £25 airtime provided, I can buy 25 min bundles for £2.50 each, as and when required.

So, overall I get a SIM card free with 250 mins for cost of £10 and also the additional mins are charged at 10p/min.

Am I making any mistake above?.

not sure if the bundles expire within a certain period but they should tell you.

The bundles do only last 30 days,as explained here.
    http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/mytescomobile/?page=bundles

But it says "Once you've used them up you will simply be charged from your calltime balance as normal on the Standard tariff" So its possible you might be charged 20p a minute, unless your calling nominated number.Your need to clarify this with them.
