AYCE data on 3....confused here

Bit confused about data and how it's used and charged

Just got a 3 SIM and loaded it with a 15 pack.
Text from 3 says
I've got a all in one 15 add on....that's 300 mins 3000 texts and all you can eat data so you can browse your heart out.

So yesterday was using google hangouts to video call someone and was on for about 40 mins.......then lost connection.

After much retrying....and contacting 3 it appears I have run out of data....I couldn't quite understand what the rep on the phone was getting at.

So my question here is
Is the data only for browsing the internet and a separate allowance is for video calling / downloads ?

Perhaps, if you were tethering. But if you were not, there is no limit to your data usage.
Not even TrafficSense should affect the performance.

Was told by the rep on the phone that I had run out of data..

However...

Today I can use hangouts again....
Haven't topped up or anything

So was the rep at fault...or is there a certain amount of data I can use per day,,,,,hence why I was cut off

In month of May i had used 84GB of Data. It was awesome but later i got bored. and saw it was just waste of money. now i use 321

If you had the all in one 15 add-on you shouldn't have run out of data, seeing as you get an unlimited data allowance. You can use the data as you please.

There's no daily limit, no. Maybe there were just connection problems.

So I'm a little confused as to what's happened here

The rep on phone def said I had run out of data....

Are we sure there no daily amount of data ? I was video calling via google hangouts for over 40 mins. A lot of data perhaps ?

Any insight much appreciated

I use a few gigs of data a day sometimes and no problems. There is no daily limit! I think the person you spoke with misunderstood somehow. I've used 3 for 3 years or so now, so I think I know what I am talking about .
