Online Accounts That Accept Payment In Via Direct Debit

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that the DD's didn't have to be monthly.

As much as I agree with your point about using DD's to pay energy, water, etc, I like to keep my savings accounts separate from my everyday banking accounts. I have currently had to merge them to utilise the 123 Account facilities but would rather move my 'usual everyday' DD's back to my normal 'everyday life, current account. I appreciate this will then not give me the cashback facility but I'm not overly concerned about that, it's more the interest rate I'm after. With what I have set up with the Tesco facility I plan to start to move my everyday DD's back to the account from where they originally were setup.

As previously pointed out, the Tesco account is perfect for what I want; I was just interested in any others like it. I spoke with AA and Aldermore today, they both impose a limit of 2 linked accounts maximum. I don't really want to open accounts with these providers to test out whether this is true or not, I would rather have a definitive answer before proceeding, but as I say, speaking with them gave the answer of 'no'. Two linked accounts is not enough to fulfill my circumstances, again the Tesco facility allows as many as you want, as far as I can tell to date. So, for me, I believe Archi Bald has hit the nail square on the head.

But, still hopeful, if anyone knows of any other facility like the one provided by Tesco, please advise.
