It finally feels like things are getting better and i'm on the right path!

I took some advice and applied for volunteer vacancies, well i'm going to start a volunteering job next wednesday in a shop. I was looking different opportunities and this came up so i thought why not. I bit the bullet and have decided to go back on job seekers and see what they can do for me, as my savings are running out and i need money.

Also, i've started speaking to this girl and she's currently living in sweden. We have chatted a lot and last night we skyped. She lived in my area for 1 and half years as an au pair, but then left to go back to sweden, well, she is coming back later this month to work as an au pair again as she said she loves england. She said she would definitely go for a drink so we will do that when she is here.

I am going to start my driving lessons again next week and try get my self on the road after failing my test a couple months ago. I spent so much money on an intensive driving course so it was a bit knock to my confidence and financially.

I just need to get a decent job and find a way to get qualifications in a specific area of interest to help elevate my career prospects.

Sorry i have been a nuisance guys. I really feel like now my life is getting back on track and i feel really upbeat and happy about the future.

I really hope things go right and i continue on this path.

Great news - you are covering social aspects and leisure aspects. What are you doing to improve your mental health (anxiety? depression?) - have you thought about doing on online mindfulness based stress reduction programme or similar, perhaps one run locally? Are you getting any proper medical support?

Very happy to hear it. As long as you don't come back with another whine in the next 5 minutes. All the best.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well done Kingslayer, just one thing - won't the driving lessons eat up your remaining money?

I may have a look at that stress reduction programme. I am not really getting any support, but i think i want to try get over my issues without medication. I will definitely consider a support course/group though, as it's always good to meet like minded people.

I just think being more sociable will help my mood. I have been very unsociable for the last few years and i think that has had a massive affect on my mental health. Not just that, but also being unemployed has done my self esteem and health no good.

    Thanks for the advice.

lol no I won't. I want to stay positive from now on. I have a new found motivation and i need to get myself back into the groove of things before i am left behind.

I think seeing certain people in my area and around me has given me this hunger. I don't want to be like that, instead i want to be happy in myself and take control of my life.

I like many of the regular posters on here, so I will always enjoy posting on here, but not to whine.

Yes, but i've applied for jobseekers, but hopefully once i've had a few lessons i will have found a job by then.
