I hate these vague polls lacking options.
Which house are you referring to? !!
(You do know us Norverners tend to buy half a street don't you? It makes it easier to find the way home from the pub when we are tanked up on mild and black pudding)0 -
A lot of jealously going on in this thread. A person should rejoice in their investment going up in value, it's odd to think anyone wouldn't be happy. OP has made a wise investment and through hard work and vision is seeing his investment florish.0

The OP is a very strange person and probably a Mitty-style fantasist.
I love to share people's successes. I'm not convinced there are many/any here though.0 -
According to zoopla, our house is worth 70,000 more than next door, it's exactly the same house, except theirs is extended
oh, and sold 6 months ago, so they have an actual figure to go on for theirs, not the finger in the air approach zoopla usually uses0 -

ΔΔ same here.
But it did cost me £600 for the mortgage and £500 in repairs.0 -
zoopla predicted my house was worth 140K less than mine sold for - at the time - it predicted the other half of the semi was worth 100k more than mine .. now the one I have sold is worth more 60K than the one next door. It makes no sense..
Both semis are in the same order -in the same place - so should be worth the same amount ..0
