Hi all,
I have written an ebook to help parents/teachers with dyslexic children. I have just put up the sales page. It would be great to hear some feedback on the sales page.

Thanks!

Just two quick points
(1) The text on the image you use is very blurry - maybe look at ther resolution of the image?
(2) There is an awful lot of text on this one page - I'd keep the first page simple - Title, brief summary, cost a.s.o and then hyperlink to a second page with more detail if necessary.
Also - your price is quoted in dollars - which suggests this is targeted towards the US market - is this the case?0 -
Another thought....
Why don't you include Links to other books dealing with dyslexia or workbooks that you recommend via amazon affiliate - then you could generate some income even if they don't buy your book.0 -
Thanks ff. I've made a lot of changes so hopefully it looks better now! I'll look into the affiliate links, thx.0

I would put an extra link to buy the ebook nearer the top of the page.
Some people will be convinced to buy it in the first couple of paragraphs but will have to scroll all the way to the bottom in order to buy it.0 -
Maybe it's just me but I don't like the 'dear friend' salutation? That would put me off. But then again, maybe it's the IN THING and it attracts buyers. Does anybody know?He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Hi,
Ok if I'm being honest. No squeeze page? Definately needs a squeeze page with a backend. I presume you've got a backend here? Also your copy isn't great tbh. Sorry that's my honest assessment.0 -

I'm sorry but I disagree strongly with this advice. If you have an affliate site then yes but people will only give your site 10 seconds so to link away will lose customers as they navigate away and probably won't buy anything anyway. All the marketing guru's say 'the money's in your list' ie. build up a list of loyal customers and if you treat them right they'll keep buying.0 -
imho "Dear Friend" would put me off as it sounds like many a junk email I have received in the past, also when the list of questions comes up, blue is often associated with a hyperlink and it makes the reader feel they can click on each line, although they can`t in this case.
good luck

It looks like the classic "get rich quick using our amazing method" ebook sales website (even though it's not) which would lead me to close the window immediately.0

What are they coming back for? This is a one off sale... from what I can see?!?
To avoid people just clicking off straight away the links would appear below the ebook sale link. Or even better - the page that is displayed after the sale.
I was just thinking that showing links to other possible books reduces the get-rich-quick look of the page... and diplayes some authority in the field.0
