So.. NO bonus. Got paid slightly less than I expected, must have been tax.. will see what my payslip says.

Just done the transfer of Halifax>Bcard on 0% for 9 months! I am officially interest free on debts.

I doubt it, but hopefully I'll be in a different job before then anyhow :P

Yes its a great step, I can really concentrate on simply paying it away, its pretty important to me to get actually IN FRONT where I one day won't be in negative money

I feel you on that one! I'm finally credit card-less so when I start a new job my focus will be paying back my Grandmother, who honestly couldn't be assed if I do or not! It's only me applying pressure to myself to pay it back!

Can't wait to get some money saved up, it's going to feel so good! I'm sure you'll feel the same too!! We'll get there!

    Just a quick drop in.

I'm doing much better with for money these days, a lot less stress about money with my pay rise and now all debts are on 0% just plugging away a good amount to them each month.

I also began saving a small amount and just came into a couple hundred so I immediately opened a help to buy isa and popped £300 in it :) i know this could go to my debt, but as it is at 0% i have time to work on it. and i really want to start saving for my future.

I'm waiting to hear about a job which would be a dream and a huge pay rise again so keeping fingers crossed that i am brought such good fortune to start this year :)

heyy. Nothing too much just the same, I'm a bit skint this month because I'm having to pay a lot for food.. we're having the kitchen redone so its been ready meals (and worse) every day which just costs a whole lot more. I had a pretty decent january but this pay cheque isn't stretching quite as far. Hopefully the kitchen will be done real soon, its nearly there, then I'll just be doing a very clever shop for all my meals to be super cheap.

To be fair I paid £125 to CC's, and another £100 went into my savings which now totals £300 but I don't want to touch it at all, otherwise whats the point of calling it savings hah!

Cards are all on 0%, all my debts are basically now, which is great. But of course is time limited.

Had a phone interview about this job which hopefully will come into something but we'll see. Hopefully earn even more by the summer as I am looking around. Plodding along basically nothing too mad!

Whats going on with you!? x :p

    Hey!

Just did a big update on my diary. I did intend to start a new one but don't see the point when I can read over my previous one and see how drastic the changes in my life are.

Anything come from your phone interview?

It's still so amazing to me you got those debts on 0.00%. Shows how a bit of reimagination and organisation can make the biggest difference. Your total debt is far less a big scary thing when you don't have the interest pressuring you!

Hey yeah I like to keep the same topic I think and eventually there'll be one final post where it says "DEBT FREE" and I can honestly hold up a tenner and know that it belongs to me.

Had no word about it, it could be that they are very busy so slow in response at this time - but in any case after tomorrow i'll prod the recruiter to see if theres been word.

Yeah its great, it definitely has released a lot of stress from my life, late last year I was close to another melt down about it all but now I just don't think about it too much other than try to put as much money as possible each month to the debt that is due the closest. From now I'll just be able to hop BT cards around to keep on 0%'s

Popping in; just to update on occasion. I'm good with my money these days, minimised my life a lot and spend on very little.

However my OD is going to charge interest from September, bad news, another £50 a month just on fees. Need to get that out of the way, at least with the cards I should be able to hop via balance transfers once in a while.

    Looking into it..
