Swapping 2 numbers

Hi I have 2 contract phones
1 is on a provider I have 500 mins with. The other is a provider I have unlimited mins with.
Now I want to keep both contracts live. But all I want to do is swap the numbers round.
I have called both providers and told that to swap a number I need a PAC code but in order to get this it would cancel the contract!
Surely there must be a better way - anyone have any ideas?

I don't think this is possible without cancelling the contracts I'm afraid. There's no financial incentive for networks to provide a service like this.0
