Yes, let us all see it. I am sure that it will embarrass Mr. de Savory most terribly, especially if it is read by his staff.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Here is the piece by JDS, plus an extra titbit at the end to show how much Jimmy The Unsavoury reckon it costs them to progress through each stage of the PCN lifecyle

  • I say to Lloyd12 post the whole lot on here.Mr UnSavvy mite not like it but he'll have to lump itI also love the way he brings public forums into the equasion..encouraging people not to pay my foot! It's all about getting the correct information from informed people to the uninitiated and making a robust and well informed challenge to a dodgy practice.!!! and I for one say a big huge thanks to all those people who give up their time to do so on a wide range of issues.!Whaddya think the public are going to do Mr unSavary? cry over all the hard work you put in to squeeze their hard earned and just "give in to you" just because you asked/threatened/scared them into submission?I'm surprised he doesn't mention programmes like Watchdog and Rogue Traders,et-al,after all its the same sort of media that's out there for the benefit of the public who are unaware of scams and bad practices. So a question for Mr Un Savary is this "why do you find it such a threat to your ..hmm...business" when you clearly monitor such forums because of the impact this may well have on your very large and substantial hrmm....income! It may be a little feisty on forums such as this one and others and a well vented anger is sometimes hard to bear but then sometimes when s$$$ is thrown then some of it may stick an we don't like it do we Mr UnSavvy? but its not so bad 'cos we can always just wash it off, it just seems that you can't and you don't like it...well Boo-Hoo yah sucks.

Regards from just a mildly angry Husheechee have a nice day

I just sent my complaint off to BPA as well, but I am not holding out for the appropriate level of chastisement!

They won't slap de Savary on the wrist at all - he is a useful voicepiece for them if needed as he is plausible, went to the right schools and knows the right people.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I seem to remember a recent debate about him being very plausible after a response to a Prankster blog.

    BPA – 06432.

I have investigated your complaint with the operator and can advise as follows.

I will deal with each point in turn. Napier have been reminded to use e-mail addresses where available to send POPLA evidence out. Therefore in future, if an e-mail address is provided, Napier will be sending evidence out via e-mail rather than post.

My manager has spoken to Napier this morning and they have been reminded of their obligations to send out correspondence to the motorist with the correct amount of postage to ensure the motorist is not charged on collection. We have been assured this was an isolated event.

You advised that Napier date their rejection letters on one date but the letter is not received until later. Unfortunately, we cannot control the postal service. However, we have made a record of your complaint and should we see a pattern emerging we will investigate further. Please note POPLA can accept late appeals if they believe there is a legitimate reason for the delayed appeal and we would assist any motorist who believe they have not been given the correct amount of time to make an appeal to POPLA.

The disclosure of a name in their evidence is not a breach of our Code of Practice and we do not believe it is a breach of Data Protection and therefore we cannot investigate this point any further.

Thank you for bringing the above to my attention, however, in view of the above, I must close the investigation.

    Kind regards,

    AOS Investigations Team
