Hairdressers mistake. How do I get it corrected?

I went to a technical college when I was 16 for 2 years and there was a hairdressing salon in the college for the students to get experience.
Take into account this was the early 80's !!! lol
I was asked if I would be a model. This was the era of the shaggy perm for men ( remember Kevin Keegan) I agreed and also said they could tint it too. The perm went ok nice curls, dead loose, looked good. Then the colour went on. I was blond in those days, the sight I saw when it was finished nearly gave me a heart attack. It could only be described as me looking like a male version of Mollie Sugden in Are you being served !
I got the bus to the Asda store I worked part time in and washed and washed my hair in the sink and dried it on the hand dryers. I got ,ost of it out, but still looked shocking, so had to spend £25 on getting it coloured in a professional shop.
Lesson learned for the rest of my life. DON'T OFFER TO BE A MODEL FOR ANYONE !:eek:0 -
Update.
Got no reply from the rep so after a week I emailed the company she works for and got a reply so fast it had skid marks.
She unfortunately told two outright lies which I called her out on. Her reply was tough luck. So I have put a nice note on the companies Facebook page.0 -
So what was the reply you got?0

I didn't post any of her emails because I wasn't sure that I was allowed to. If someone can confirm that I am ok to do this, I will do so. I obviously don't want to breach any rules or give out any info that may identify her or the company.

Have you thought about going along to your local college and having your hair dyed by one of the hairdressing students? They are supervised and it should be a damn sight cheaper than salon prices. I did this about 5 years ago and got a cut and straightening for a tenner. I appreciate that my advice doesn't solve your problem of liability...but at least your hair should be a more manageable colour. They would love to work on your hair because it can teach to students how to correct other people's f*ck ups.SPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j
