Using automated form fillers

I don't use any add-ons whilst comping but Chrome remembers my details so I usually only type the first letter and rest of the form fills in automatically.
However, recently i've noticed that the boxes which are filled in automatically turn yellow. Whilst if I overtype them, they go back to white.
Does anybody know why? And am I likely to be disqualified because i look like a bot?

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who posts comps

As usual, these sorts of questions have cropped up in CCC before

There are simple ways you can change the boxes to white even using Chrome autofill (such as the 'overtype' method you mention in your post). Admittedly, I always make sure I don't submit 'yellow' forms but that's my superstition/habit moreso now.

If you're using Chrome as your browser, then Lastpass is a free add-on you could download for this purpose (as well as a very useful password saver!). I find that very useful for form filling instead of Chrome's autofill now=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -
Thanks BikerChick, I'll give Lastpass a goA MASSIVE thank you to everyone who posts comps :beer:0
