Exactly, so you complain LOUDLY, STRONGLY now to Steve Clark at BP about this, and DRP demanding money[with menaces]and dvla.

'WHERE IS MY POPLA CODE?' There are other grounds of complaint possibly more, if we knew some dates, but this is the essential just for now.

Your letter to apcoa was similar to a popla appeal, so you are already familiar with some of the necessary points for that.
    #
Guidelines were issued to BPA Ltd members in January 2014 advising that failure to issue a valid POPLA Code within the Rejection letter would be considered a breach of their Code of Practice.

Contacting DRP or not as the case may be makes no difference to the main artery of this case. You are complaining to DVLA and BPA about abuse and ignoring the KADOE code and the BPA CoP. Also abuse of POPLA 2012. Go for it

The only thing you contact DRP for is to deny the debt and tell them send it back to APCOA.

You then complain to the BPA and DVLA about APCOA and DRP for demanding money while you have an ongoing appeal.

ok people heres the latest i emailed both DVLA and BPA and have received a reply from BPA.

Thanks for your e-mail, the contents of which are noted.

You have probably got my name off of one of the parking forums who dispense so-called advice. I don't deal with investigations myself and so I have copied note to my Operations Manager, Dave who will be able to help you.

He will make contact with APCOA and see what they have to say for themselves and then respond to you with what he has learned.

    Kind regards

Steve, It's not "so-called advice". It's real advice given by people who know what they are talking about . Unlike you. You have has no legal training and always side with the PPC.

It once again illustrates that the BPA Ltd, is just a cosy member's club that doesn't care a fig about the motorist and is just there to support the parking "industry".

We have seen this line from various PPCs who complain when motorists seek advice from forums, and then employ solicitors and even barristers to try and bully motorists when a case goes to court. Talk about being one-sided!

boxa - I had to grab Steve C by figurative scruff of neck twice and he reformed, if only because I responded forcefully and accurately.

    Please do the same.

    'Dear Mr Clark
Thank you for your e-mail, the contents of which are noted.

I must take exception to this sentence: 'You have probably got my name off of one of the parking forums who dispense so-called advice.'

Please expand on the underlined phrase.

It is surely basic commonsense that anyone who receives a fake invoice, indistinguishable from much junk mail, researches a so-called claimant's bonafides. I have now seen that the British Parking Association is actually a Limited Company. How does this work in assuring private parking companies abide by the Law and various Codes of Practice?

Luckily, when I found you were HEAD of Operations for BPA Ltd, it was only natural I addressed my concerns to you. Presumably, 'Dave' is answerable to you.
Obviously, I need his surname and email address please, to save having to route follow-up communications through you.

A final point - I assume 10-working days is sufficient for APCOA's response to 'Dave' and I look forward in the first instance to receiving a copy of his request to them.

    Thankyou for your attention,
    boxa.

  • I actually have a good working relationship with Steve Clark and although we dont see eye to many on a few things we do agree on a lot and i have found him amicable face 2 face as well. Quite engaging.

In fact all the people I email at the BPA I get on, but then I often bring up issues with them and they always deal with them within a few days and I get what I expect from it.
