Need help designing cafe kitchen

My 'detective work' did include Toronto, but I didn't think that a single board game cafe in the whole of North America indicated anything of substance.
I guess such a cafe in Oxford is popular because of the extremely large University student and staff population; and Hackney is a world of it's own.
Good luck with your new venture. I'd love to know which county it's in......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Cover charge inc. unlimited drinks is an interesting idea! Only issue I see is that it could get confusing as we'd need special rules for the more expensive drinks (milkshakes, alcohol…) as we can't give unlimited of those for free! We've definitely been looking into subscription, loyalty options and 'spin-the-wheel' type offers. We might wait until after we've opened to figure that out though.
Wow, well if you really can sell a game every 5 families then that's a smashing line of business, and credit to you for spotting a niche! That's what the game is all about, and if you can prove the model and show solid revenue it sounds like the kind of thing you could potentially franchise out if growth and demand are high.
Free drinks would have to be coffee/tea, squash and maybe postmix fizzy pop - nothing that involved any real labour or costs! If you did try that idea out (and it may be insane, I make no representations), I'd be tempted to put urns, coffee, tea and postmix stations as more or less self-service, reduce your labour costs so they can service the premium guests paying for upgrade drinks and cakes!0
