I'd say yes, you need to declare everything. I declare everything from DH's athlete's foot to his osteoporosis, with a few in between which it takes them a while to find!
They have supplementary questions about his asthma, but usually nod his eczema through. He's been more ill with that than anything else, I think! Fortunately never on holiday ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
We have a raft of health issues between us (heart bypass, diabetes, 18 months clear after colon cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma - lovely mix
) and found Staysure gave us the best value cover. I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Declare absolutely everything even if it is very mild and seems completely irrelevant. That way should you have a claim they cannot say you didn't give them full information and then refuse the claim.0

Thanks.
Staysure wanted about £300 for a year's cover. Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I went with Top Dog on my last holiday to Greece (only a week in May this year). They covered my visual impairment, nerve damage and a comprehensive blood issue without drama. It was £13 for a week's cover, which I found really cheap considering some were quoting over £100. They were great when I needed to pop to hospital to have a swollen foot looked at (I'd broken two bones).
I've used Staysure before, but never claimed so can't help there; they were competitive on price.
If you don't have a diagnosis, I'd advise calling the companies for advice to make sure you're covered for complications or further worsening without diagnosis - its worth paying the extra in case something happens and you need Med-Evac which can literally be thousands.0 -
Thanks. I do have a diagnosis; but none of the medication I'm allowed works and were running out of options.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
