I just use +... for all my contacts.
All my contacts I have stored on my mobile and on my PC are in international format, even my UK contacts are +44....
Sending from 1899 I simply copy the number as +44... and they work fine. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Suprised to hear that 1899 ,18866 and 18185 are all the same company.
I've been using 1899 for over a year now with no complaints, very happy with the service and the cheaper bills.0 -

www.18185.co.uk are cheaper overall then 1899 and 18866.;)0 -
This co never brings it's prices down permanently on a specific access number, they just introduce a new access number with lower charges. A bit of inertia selling!0

Didn't have problems when this was OP'd, but the last couple of days 18185 line quality has been awful. When I 'phone out people cannot hear me at all, if I do a 1280, it's fine.
Any one else having problems ?0 -
1280 is a prefix you would only need to use if you are on say, TalkTalk for your call billing but still pay BT for your line rental. It would give you access to BT for normal calls billed by BT. But assuming you do not rent your line from Carphone Warehouse, no need to use 1280 to use 18185.

My CPS provider is Primus, during the day my V4 sends my calls out through 18185, so if I get a c*** line I manually dial 1280 to put me back onto BT.0

Are not Primus cheaper for those calls than BT?It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... So you are trying to dial 1280 for BT then 18185. I was not aware that a direct access code to 18185 has ever worked in this way (unless you are going to use 18185's 0800... access number after the 1280).0

To the OP, I have been using 18185 for a few years now and 90% of time the calls are fine, however just recently I have been calling my daughter and sometimes it sounds as though she has her head a bucket of water, other times there is a big time delay. I must say these things do tend to happen on weekends when I assume there is a bigger usage?? Thats all I can think it is unless I am talking a load of rubbish which not unusual. But the norm is for good quality calls.
